Aislinn and Carlos held their wedding at St John the Baptist Church in Beeston, followed by a gorgeous reception at Loughborough wedding venue, Prestwold Hall, a stunning country house in the heart of Leicestershire. This venue is one of my favourites, partly because of the grand beauty of the hall itself, and partly because of its ethical credentials. Not only is the heating and electricity of the building powered by a biomass boiler and solar panels, but the grounds also house one of the largest solar farms in Europe! As an ethical wedding videographer, who also makes eco-friendly commitments to our couples, including powering our batteries and laptops from renewable energy, and planting a tree for every wedding we film, we love aligning ourselves with wedding suppliers and venues with similar values. The fact that Prestwold Hall is only 5 minutes away from us in Loughborough is also a massive bonus! Especially in terms of reducing our car journey to and from wedding venues.

Aislinn and Carlos’s love was “forged by the pandemic” in Aislinn’s words, having decided to move in together during lockdown. And what a fantastic decision that turned out to be! It was an absolute privilege to attend a completely unique and lively Irish and Mexican wedding, complete with a live mariachi band who brought the party atmosphere to the evening following speeches.
