Jo and Carl held their winter wedding at the beautiful barn wedding venue, Dodford Manor, in Northamptonshire, in December 2022.

Joanna’s day started out at the nearby Hellidon Lakes Hotel, with Mum and her two bridesmaids. Hair was provided by Aylesbury based hair stylist Rebecca Horner Hair and bridal makeup by Juliet Cunnington, based in Leighton Buzzard.

Jo’s preparations continued into the wedding prep space at Dodford Manor where guests were busy arriving, ready for a 1pm wedding ceremony. Jo and Carl chose my two videographer package, so Rachel, my second videographer arrived from Carl’s preparations and we went on to capture three different angles during the ceremony. It was our pleasure to capture Carl’s emotional reaction as she walked down the aisle! We just loved it! The love between these two was a pleasure to witness.

Bridesmaid’s bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony and reception flowers, plus Jo’s gorgeous wedding bouquet were provided by Northampton wedding florist Jack Haddon, based in Harpole, a few miles from Dodford Manor.

It was my absolute pleasure to work alongside Buckinghamshire wedding photographers Emily and Ian from H & W Photography. We were put to the test with a typical British winter’s day, with clouds and wet weather scuppering our chances of capturing a beautiful sunset at Dodford Manor, but, we were able to make the most of the weather windows we had, and I’m so pleased with the footage I captured during their wedding portrait session.

Music on the day was provided by the lovely Rebecca Cole and her wedding band Petite Rouge, both of whom come highly recommended by Dodford Manor, and myself! I’ve worked with this talented bunch before and they are always guaranteed crowd pleasers.

In addition to the music, Jo and Carl’s wedding breakfast included a surprise ‘host a roast’, as well as a retro gaming console from Gaming4Weddings. And this amazing sparkler session was a really joyful end to their wedding day!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Perrottet!
