There is something truly special about a DIY wedding, the way people come together to celebrate and contribute their time and effort towards a helping a couple achieve their dream wedding day is really what life is all about. Whether it is flower picking and assembling, making a wedding cake or simply storing glass jars and carrying decorations into the venue the day before, knowing the people that you love want to help you is the loveliest of feelings. We discovered this at our own do-it-yourself style of wedding day, and the incredible wedding of Emily and George at Langton Community Hall totally proves my point!

Emily and George’s family and friends came together the day before their wedding to set up this reception venue with decorations, vases of flowers and drapes, and it looked INCREDIBLE. Emily’s preparations took place at her mum’s house a 2 minute walk away from St Peter’s Church, where they exchanged their vows, and George and his groomsmen grabbed a drink at the nearby Langton Arms. It all felt so personal to them and I absolutely loved it.
